How Omkaarya protects your temple's data, devotee records, and financial information.

Last updated: 24 June 2026

End-to-End Encryption

All data transmitted between your temple's devices and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is protected with AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by financial institutions.

Role-Based Access Control

Omkaarya enforces strict role-based permissions across your temple team. Cashiers, seva counter staff, finance trustees, and administrators each operate within clearly defined access boundaries — no staff member sees more than they need to.

Full Audit Trail

Every critical action — seva billing, hundi entries, donation records, stock adjustments, user logins, and trustee report access — is logged with a tamper-evident audit trail. You can review exactly who did what and when.

Automated Backups

Your temple's data — including devotee records, ornament registers, and financial histories — is automatically backed up at regular intervals to geographically redundant storage. Fully recoverable in the event of failure.

Tenant Isolation

Each temple on Omkaarya is a fully isolated tenant. Your devotee data, financial records, and operational data are never shared with, visible to, or accessible by any other temple on the platform.

High Availability Infrastructure

Omkaarya runs on enterprise cloud infrastructure with built-in redundancy and automatic failover. Designed to remain available during festival seasons and peak seva days when your temple needs it most.

Devotee Data Privacy

Devotee personal information — names, natchathiram, phone numbers, booking history — is stored securely and used only to serve your temple's operations. We never sell or share devotee data with any third party.

Responsible Disclosure

We take security vulnerabilities seriously. If you discover a potential issue, report it to our security team at support@omkaarya.com. We commit to investigating all reports promptly and transparently.
