1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Omkaarya Temple Management System, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding agreement between your temple or trust and Pepulux Pvt Ltd, the company that operates Omkaarya. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

The person completing registration confirms they have authority to bind the temple trust or institution to these terms.

2. Service Description

Omkaarya is a cloud-based Temple Management System (TMS). The platform includes, but is not limited to:

• Seva and vazhipadu counter POS billing
• Devotee CRM — profiles, natchathiram, booking history, family records
• Hundi collection tracking and cash reconciliation
• Donation management and transparency feed
• Prasadam and inventory management
• Deity ornament asset register
• Festival and ritual calendar management
• Finance ledger and trustee audit reports
• Role-based access control for temple staff
• WhatsApp notifications and receipt delivery
• Temple microsite and devotee-facing directory

Features may vary by plan. Omkaarya reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering your temple on Omkaarya. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each temple portal is a separate, isolated tenant. Data from one temple is never accessible to another. The temple administrator is responsible for managing staff access and role permissions within the platform.

4. Subscription & Billing

Omkaarya services are provided on a monthly or annual subscription basis at the rates listed on our pricing page. Prices are in USD unless otherwise agreed.

• Annual subscriptions cover 12 months of full access. The discount (equivalent to 2 months free) is built into the annual price.
• Monthly subscriptions renew each calendar month.
• Payment is currently accepted via bank wire / telegraphic transfer. Card payments will be available in a future release.
• Access may be suspended if payment is not received within a reasonable period after the due date.
• We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Omkaarya to:

• Process fraudulent transactions or misrepresent donation amounts
• Access or attempt to access another temple's data
• Reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the platform or its workflows
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data at scale
• Upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
• Misuse the AI assistant for non-temple or harmful purposes
• Share login credentials across unauthorised individuals

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Data & Ownership

Your temple's data belongs to your temple. Omkaarya processes it solely to deliver the services described in this agreement. We do not use your temple data, devotee records, or financial information for any purpose other than providing the platform to you.

You may export your data at any time. Upon cancellation, your data remains available for 60 days before permanent deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. AI Assistant (Pranavas)

Omkaarya includes an AI assistant named Pranavas to help with temple queries and administrative tasks. Pranavas responses are assistive and informational. Temple administrators must independently verify all AI-generated outputs, particularly for financial, legal, or compliance matters. Pranavas does not provide certified accounting, legal, or charitable governance advice.

8. Hardware & Integrations

Omkaarya is designed to work with thermal receipt printers, barcode scanners, QR display screens, and WhatsApp Business integrations. Hardware compatibility may vary by device model and region. We do not guarantee functionality with unsupported or third-party modified hardware. Hardware purchases are the temple's responsibility.

9. Availability & Support

Omkaarya targets high platform availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Support is provided via email at support@omkaarya.com and WhatsApp. Response times vary by plan tier. We do not guarantee resolution times for issues outside our control (third-party services, hardware, network connectivity).

10. Termination

You may cancel your Omkaarya subscription at any time by contacting support@omkaarya.com. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Omkaarya reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately for serious violations of these terms, including fraudulent use, data abuse, or non-payment. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pepulux Pvt Ltd (operating as Omkaarya) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, devotee records, or business continuity. Our total aggregate liability to any temple or user shall not exceed the total fees paid by that temple in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Omkaarya is a tool to assist temple administration. Ultimate responsibility for financial governance, charity law compliance, and trustee obligations remains with the temple trust and its officers.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Omkaarya shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

For temples operating under UK, EU, or other jurisdiction-specific charity law requirements, those local obligations are your responsibility as the registered charity or trust. Omkaarya provides the tools; your trustees remain the responsible officers.
